I recently went to a fun event where photographers and models get together and take pictures, with all different ranges of photographers. The month I went was Christmas card theme. I went with a group of friends to get a fun Happy New Years /Happy holidays card taken from a photographer my friend knew. After we were done I hung around and watched other people get there pictures taken. When there was a slow pause I asked the same photographer (DWB Photography) if I could get some headstand pictures taken. It was a lot of fun. I was a little worried if I was going to be able to control lowering my legs as well with heels on but it was not a issue I even landed pretty most of the time 🙂 It was also cool when I stood out a large portion of the room was gather around us.
Haven’t posted in like a year, but thought this was a fun little pic.
The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2012 annual report for this blog. I though it would be fun to share. I am excited to see where this blog is in another year 🙂
Here’s are some fun facts from the report:
600 people reached the top of Mt. Everest in 2012. This blog got about 3,500 views in 2012. If every person who reached the top of Mt. Everest viewed this blog, it would have taken 6 years to get that many views.
In 2012, there were 105 new posts, not bad for the first year! There were 347 pictures uploaded, taking up a total of 335 MB. That’s about 7 pictures per week.
The busiest day of the year was October 14th with136 views. The most popular post that day was Zombies! -Cathe.
It’s taken me a while to get these photos uploaded, but this fall I traveled to Thailand and Laos for a month and decided to try some urban poling while I was gone. Take a look at my hap-hazard tricks on street signs (and a temple sign in Laos)…as well as a pole that I found in a club where we saw a LadyBoy show (Thai drag queens.) The show was amazing, but everyone clapped when I pulled out my tricks. Lucky for me I had some liquid courage.
The awesome blog this picture comes from.
And a picture I took last night 🙂 Its kinda hard to direct people when you are clinging to a stop sign but I think we did a pretty good job.
